Roundhill stretches the definition of an extension and refurbishment. Taking the original 1930s house and knocking down most of the walls and building a complete wrap around new brick shell, strip out and replace all the floor joists, replacing and extending the roof, completely new heating, plumbing, electrical systems, new gas and electric mains supplies.
The works didn’t just stop at the house, creating a garden that is fitting to the much grander house was no small feat this included excavation and leveling to the front driveways and installing a two tiered stone terrace and retaining garden walls. The majority of the site was over grown woodland so we thinned out the tree line, cleared out the brush, imported new soil systems, turfing, hedge planning and feature planting and fencing to an over 100’ garden. The creation was a virtually new home without the new home cost.
